Refund policy.
A refund may be requested within 30 days of a new purchase or paid upgrade, for any reason.
Requesting a refund
Paddle is the merchant of record and processes refunds. Use the refund link in the Paddle receipt, or contact support with the email address used for the purchase and the approximate purchase date.
Refunding a purchase
Every purchase, new or upgraded, creates one license key. A refund ends only the key created by that purchase; that key stops activating Thruline. Any other license key you already own is unaffected.
Refunding an upgrade
An upgrade purchase uses a one-time discount code tied to your existing key to buy a separate new key for the new major version. That new key is delivered only to the existing key's owner, so sharing the discount code with someone else cannot transfer your license to them — it can only let them buy your own upgrade on your behalf. Refunding that purchase ends the new key and restores your original key's discount eligibility, so you can request a fresh code later. Your original key was never touched by the upgrade and keeps working for the major version it already owns.
Chargebacks
A chargeback, a dispute filed with your bank or card issuer, also ends the disputed purchase's key, but unlike a refund it does not restore an older key's discount eligibility. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact support first: a refund keeps your discount eligibility open, while a chargeback closes it for good.
Bought another full-price copy by mistake?
If you already owned Thruline but bought a second full-price license instead of upgrading, request a full refund of the new purchase within 30 days and explain the mistake. Only the newly purchased key is revoked. Your original key remains unchanged. After the refund, use the upgrade page with that original key to request a discount code.
Your projects
A refund or chargeback never deletes projects saved on your computer. If a key is revoked, any other key you own keeps activating Thruline for the major version it supports.
